Cream, the first major supergroup in music history, is considered the most influential trio of the 1960s. With their groundbreaking sound and legendary improvisations, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker created a musical legacy that continues to resonate today and inspire generations of artists.
Now this legacy is being celebrated in an extraordinary tribute concert at Porgy & Bess: an exquisite “power trio” dedicates itself with devotion and virtuosity to the work of these icons.
Led by the outstanding guitarist Clem Clempson, who played alongside Jack Bruce for over three decades, carried by the characterful vocals and bass playing of the great Mark Clarke, and completed by Peter Brkusic, whose personal friendship with Ginger Baker and whose original drum set lend the evening a special authenticity.
A concert that revives the magic of “Cream” – impressive, intense, and deeply worthy. (Press release)
