Daniel Tamayo Quintet offers a music full with texture that explores free improvisation and jazz tradition in communion with electroacoustic soundscapes, parallel to a visual journey through projection mapping. In the past years the band has been active at festivals like the Avignon Jazz festival, winter jazz festival, Krokus jazz festival among others as well as playing locally in venues like Stadtgarten, Loft and the Jazzschmiede. In 2021 the band released their debut album “Unjustified Paranoia” with the label Unit records.
